Alan B Whitehouse, MD, graduated from Murray State University and received his medical degree from University of Louisville. He completed his Internship in General Surgery and Residency in Otolaryngology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery.  He is internationally known for his clinical experience in treating the ENT manifestations of Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia and is a valued member of the academic team at Georgia Regents Health System.  Dr Whitehouse also has vast experience with minimally-invasive balloon sinuplasty.  Dr Whitehouse has been in private practice in Augusta for over 20 years. He lives in Augusta with his wife.

Edward A Porubsky, MD, graduated from Wofford College and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his General Surgery Internship and Residency in Otolaryngology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr Porubsky received first place in the Resident Research Competition for the division of Otolaryngology. He is a comprehensive otolaryngologist and has experience with minimally-invasive balloon sinuplasty.  Dr Porubsky is a member of various medical associations and societies. Some of his hobbies include playing golf, tennis, fishing, cycling and spending time with his family and friends. He lives in Augusta with his wife and two children.

Christopher L Vickery, MD, graduated from the University of Georgia and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his Internship in General Surgery and Residency in Otolaryngology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the University of Virginia. Dr Vickery has been in private practice in Augusta for over 15 years. He has served on various teams on medical missions to both South America and Africa. He is skilled in minimally -invasive balloon sinuplasty.  Dr Vickery lives in Augusta with his wife and two children.

R Tyson Deal, MD graduated from the University of Georgia and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his Residency in Otolaryngology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. In addition to several honors and awards, Dr Deal received the Resident Research Award for most outstanding research. Dr Deal is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is a general otolaryngologist and is skilled in minimally -invasive balloon sinuplasty.  Some of his hobbies include golf, running, playing guitar and spending time with his family. He lives in Augusta with his wife and son.

James F Kimbrough, MD, graduated from Yale University and received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his Internship in General Surgery and Residency in Otolaryngology at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. Dr Kimbrough joined Augusta ENT in July, 2009. During medical school and residency, Dr Kimbrough served as the Admissions Ambassador at Indiana University School of Medicine. He has devoted much time and support to Habitat for Humanity. Dr Kimbrough is a general otolaryngologist and is skilled in minimally -invasive balloon sinuplasty.  Dr Kimbrough lives in Augusta with his wife, two sons and 1 daughter.

Jonathan W. Rutledge, MD, completed his undergraduate studies at Valdosta State University and received his doctorate of medicine from Mercer University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery internship and residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Rutledge practices general otolaryngology and his specific interests include cartilage tympanoplasty, nose/sinus/allergy disorders, disorders of the salivary glands, and thyroid/parathyroid disease. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and traveling with his family. He lives in Augusta with his wife and four children.

Christopher M Ayers, MD graduated from Clemson University and received a Masters in Public Health from the University of South Carolina. He went on to receive his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society.

During his residency, at the Medical University of South Carolina, he has authored numerous publications and presented multiple times at the American Academy of Otolaryngology annual meeting of which he is a member. He is a general otolaryngologist with interest in tympanoplasty, sinus disease, thyroid/parathyroid disease and pediatrics. Dr. Ayers lives in Augusta with his wife and two daughters. His interests include golf, college sports and spending time with his family.

Dr. Esselman earned a B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University and worked briefly for NASA and General Dynamics. He received a Distinguished Alumni Scholarship to Washington University School of Medicine and earned his M.D. in 1993. He completed Surgery Internship and Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery Residency at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis in 1999. He spent 7 years in private practice in Mendocino County, California before moving to Aiken with his wife and three children. He is Board Certified and specializes in all aspects of General Otolaryngology.

Dr. Patrick McMenamin performed his surgical training at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institution in Baltimore, Maryland. He is board certified in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery. He has completed a Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery and is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Additionally, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery.

After serving in faculty positions at Johns Hopkins, David Grant, and the University of California, Davis, Medical Centers, Dr. McMenamin entered private practice in Sacramento in 1990. He has become a national leader in the field of cosmetic surgery, serving as President of the California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery. He has also served as a Trustee of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and was the 2009 President-elect of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, an international organization headquartered in Chicago, which promotes, supports, develops and encourages the science, art and practice of cosmetic surgery. It is the only academy devoted exclusively to the practice of cosmetic surgery.

He relocated to Aiken, SC and is a proud member of the Aiken ENT team.

Dr. Levens joined Augusta ENT in May 2006. She is originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina. She graduated from University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Dr. Levens went on to Towson University to complete her Doctorate degree in Audiology. She did her externship at Southern Otologic Clinic in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Levens is a licensed audiologist in the State of Georgia and South Carolina. She is also a certified member of the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), and Georgia Academy of Audiology (GAAA).

Dr. Cyr joined Augusta ENT in May 2016. She is originally from Emporia, Virginia. She graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Dr. Cyr received her Doctorate in Audiology from East Tennessee State University. She completed her externship with the Veteran’s Administration (VA) in Durham, N.C. Dr. Cyr is a licensed Audiologist in the state of South Carolina. She is also a certified member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).

Dr. Ross joined Augusta ENT May 2014. She is originally from Walla Walla, WA. She graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelors of Arts in Communication Science and Disorders, Applied Psychology, and Special Education. Dr. Ross received her Masters and Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Pittsburgh. She completed her externship with the Veterans Administration (VA) in San Diego, CA. Dr. Ross is a licensed Audiologist in the state of Georgia. She is also a certified member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and Georgia Academy of Audiology (GAA). She currently serves on the Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology.

Ms. Glover lives in Martinez, Ga and has two grown children. She graduated from the University of Georgia with both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Speech/Language Pathology. She has over 35 years of experience in speech/language pathology with both pediatrics and adults. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and walking on the beach.
